Brief. Translate how you perceive the city of Florence, into a minimalistic interior for the top three floors of a hotel.

Concept. I had always said Florence to be so busy with tourists, that in order to really see it, you'll need to look either up or down. It was there, framing all the hustle, where I had found shadows to dance cinematically across buildings, and light to divide surfaces. Florence became two words in my eyes; movement & shadows.

Description. With the use of wooden panels as both partitions & curtains in the rooms, I achieved results that captured the qualities I had found to shape Florence.
